Michael's Projects

Michael has been a very busy man. In the last month he's had 5 windows and a patio door installed (3 more are still coming), he and his father put up a new cabinet in the laundry room and put in a new floor in the laundry room and powder room, he's painted the powder room, installed a new ceiling fan in our bedroom, new blinds on 2 windows (now all updated and done), and did a little trim painting. We're now thinking about putting wood floors in the kitchen instead of tile, and maybe putting in a window seat in the kitchen...we'll see. I think after that, we'll stop for a while on the inside and do A LOT of work on the yard.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

It's a beautiful day, so we went for a little walk. I bundled up Lily and off we went.

I'm still enjoying tummy time. I've started to make faces at mommy and daddy, they laugh a lot!

First bottle!

Michael got to feed Lily her first bottle, he was very excited!

1 month!

I can't believe that Lily is 1 month old! We went to the doctor yesterday and Lily was a great baby!!! She didn't cry until she got her shot, and then it was only for a second. She weighed in at 11lbs 6.4oz (98th percentile), 23 1/2" long (98th percentile), and her head measured at 40.5 (98th percentile). The doctor said she's big, but proportionate, she just "looks older for her age" :)

Here are some pictures of Lily's nursery. I figured I'd post these now before it gets taken over by toys. We had the sign made for Lily, Michael and I both loved the quote. The picture above her crib was painted by my niece Heather and a shower gift for Lily.
