2 months!

Lily is 2 months old, it's amazing how fast the time goes. She's very alert, will roll to her one side from time to time and can focus and follow you most of the time. We go to the doctor on Saturday for shots and to see how much she weighs. She's been a champ lately with sleeping as well. She'll sleep from 9pm to 2:30am, eat and back to bed by 3, sleep until around 5:30, eat again and then it depends on how she's feeling that day. She'll either go back to sleep for an hour or two or she'll be up for an hour or two. My favorite time of the day is when she first wakes up. She's so excited to see you that she's all smiles and very "talkative".
~The Easter Bunny doesn't scare her but the big teddy bear does, go figure!~

Lily meets the Easter Bunny!

Lily had her picture taken with the Easter Bunny, she really didn't care. I'm sure next year with be a different story.

Michael's Projects continue...

We got an estimate on the bay window/window seat, and it's not going to happen. We'd have to change the roof line in order to make it work. We've ordered the 3 regular windows and they'll be in around 6-8 weeks. We were a little disappointed and know we could do it if we invested the money, but for the cost we'd rather build a 3 season room. Our kitchen floor will be installed on Wednesday!! Michael has already started on some of the outdoor work. He's removed 2 big shrubs and a tree (which was dying). We still have A LOT of yard work to do. I think this summer will be more of a removal of everything, and plant grass. Next summer we'll plant things that we'd like and that are easier to take care of. Michael has also finished his last indoor project, he installed the kitchen sink and faucet! I'll post pictures after the floors are in.

Happy 40th Birthday!

Heather and Sarah threw a surprise 40th birthday party for Teena! I don't know if she was more surprised about: the party, the wii, Shawn coming in from MN, or that she's going to be a grandmother again. Michael's parents were kind enough to watch Lily so we could attend. This was my first time away from Lily, I think I did alright. We didn't stay very long since the weather was bad, and I was missing Lily. :)

Happy Retirement!

Michael's father (Dick) will be retiring from Walgreens on Tuesday, March 31st. They had a party for him on Friday. Linda (mom), Chris (brother), Gwen (sister-in-law), Emma (niece), Michael, Lily and I all went to surprise him. Surprised he was indeed! His team threw him and his co-worker Mike a party, and made him a nice memory book and video. Here are a few pictures. Mike and Dick had a combined 73 years of service, hence the 70's theme.

Congratulations Dad on your MANY years of service, you've earned this retirement.

Lily's first playdate

Chris, Whitney and Gavin came over on Saturday. Lily had her first playdate. They really didn't get to play much, but Gavin did seem to like Lily's bumbo, a few toys and her leg. Michael wasn't too happy about Gavin's hand on her leg. ;) We had a great time and it was nice to visit with the May's.

Lily doesn't sit up on her own as well as Gavin.
